With over three decades of offering Dublin customers interesting and unusual outdoor plants, we have developed a stellar reputation for our friendly customer service at our destination garden centre.

About Us

We are a traditional plant focused garden centre established over 25 years ago by Pat Murphy and Brian Wood. Our centre is fully landscaped with some beautifully planted display beds and a water feature.
Stroll around our centre and get some ideas that you can use in your own garden. The beds can give ideas on companion planting and colour tones.

Along with all the traditional plant favourites, we strive to stock a selection of rare plants sourced from small growers.

We have an ever-changing stock selection throughout the year so do visit regularly for seasonal gems. Our fully experienced staff are always on hand to help with any queries you may have.

Vegetables

We stock a range of vegetables that are available seasonally.
Starting with seed potatoes and garlic & onion sets, along with seeds in February, followed by plants for salad crops, tomatoes, peppers, courgette, cucumber and herbs. We stock brassicas and leek plants later.

Wildlife

Our team of garden experts have carefully selected our range of outdoor wildlife feed. Bring your garden to life with birdseed and nut feeders. A garden rich in natural wildlife helps your garden grow by encouraging natural pollination.

Our garden centre provides gardening enthusiasts with rare and exotic plants that are sourced in Ireland and abroad. Our beautiful and elegant rare plants add vibrancy and exotic scents and sights to any kind of garden.

 I have been shopping in Murphy & Wood Garden Centre for many many years. The people that work here have always taken the time to listen to what I have asked for and they always make sure I leave with the right things. Each time whoever I'm dealing with asks me what type of plant I'm looking for, about where it will be placed in my garden, is it in shade, what is the soil like and much more.
